Synopsis

After two and a half years of training away from home, Naruto Uzumaki walks back through the gates of the Hidden Leaf Village — stronger but still the same loudmouth knucklehead everyone remembers. That contrast is kind of the whole appeal of Shippuuden — it takes a character you already know and throws him into situations that are genuinely darker and more complex than anything in the original series. The Akatsuki, a group of rogue ninja with terrifying abilities, are making their move, and their plans put Naruto and everyone he cares about directly in the crosshairs. The stakes feel real this time. Friends betray each other, mentors fall, and the chakra-based power system gets layered enough that fights become strategic puzzles rather than just spectacle. Studio Pierrot produced 500 episodes here, so yes, there's filler — skip guides exist for a reason — but the core story arcs hit hard emotionally in ways you wouldn't expect from a shounen series. The soundtrack alone carries some scenes into genuinely affecting territory. If you liked Hunter x Hunter's ability to shift from fun adventure to something heavier, or if Jujutsu Kaisen's cursed energy system grabbed you and you want something with even more depth and lore, this is where a lot of that DNA comes from. Fair warning though: Shippuuden assumes you've seen the original Naruto, so start there if you haven't. The payoff is worth the investment.

Guren having character development that is very interesting, knowing she is Orochimaru's potential vessel

Naruto and his toad saw the 3 tailed beast in front that is very scary, I love them showing how massive and powerful a normal tailed beast to other person.

This episode found out what Kabuto is actually trying to do. This episode should not be skip if you like filler episodes.
