Naruto: The Lost Story - Mission: Protect the Waterfall Village

What sounds like a routine escort mission — babysit a nervous village leader named Shibuki and get him home safe — quickly becomes anything but for Team 7. Simple enough. Except when they arrive at Takigakure, the Hidden Waterfall Village, the place is already under siege by rogue ninjas, Kakashi has conveniently disappeared back to Konoha, and suddenly three kids are the only thing standing between the village and total collapse. No backup, no teacher, no plan. Just Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura figuring it out as they go. The attackers are after something called Hero Water — an elixir locked away in the village that can multiply a ninja's chakra tenfold — which means the stakes escalate fast once you understand what the wrong people could do with that kind of power. As a single special, it's a tight, self-contained story that takes you somewhere the main series barely touches: a hidden village most Naruto fans haven't thought much about, with its own lore and problems. If you've watched One Piece or Fairy Tail and love the formula of a crew landing somewhere new and having to protect a community that can't protect itself, this scratches that same itch. It's a lean 45 minutes, no filler, and it gives Naruto a chance to carry a mission without Kakashi holding the team together.
