EPISODE CONTEXT
This episode is the second chapter in Sasuke's team-assembly arc, directly following his recruitment of Suigetsu from one of Orochimaru's facilities. 'Guardian of the Iron Wall' focuses on securing the next member, Karin, establishing her abilities and personality before the group moves on to pursue their final recruit, Jugo, in the episodes ahead. It's a critical bridge episode that transforms Sasuke from a solo operative into the leader of a purpose-built unit.
