📖 SYNOPSIS

"Saiyuki Reload: Burial" is a prequel that explores the formative experiences of the Saiyuki quartet. The first OVA focuses on Sanzo and his master, also introducing Ukoku, who later becomes known as Ni Jianyi. The second OVA depicts the initial meeting between Goku and Sanzo, setting the stage for their future bond. The third OVA examines the events following Hakkai's past sins and his subsequent trial, as presented in the first season of "Saiyuki." This OVA also details Hakkai's decision to reside in Gojyo's home, offering insight into the relationships within the group.
