📖 SYNOPSIS

The anime follows the westward journey of Genjo Sanzo, a priest, and his three companions: Cho Hakkai, Sha Gojyo, and Son Goku. Their mission is to prevent the resurrection of the demon Gyoumao, a powerful entity whose return threatens the balance of their world. As they travel, the Sanzo Ikkou's reputation precedes them, leading to frequent encounters with demon assassins. These battles test their skills and resilience. Beyond the external threats, the group also grapples with internal tensions, which threaten to fracture their unity. They must overcome these challenges and maintain their bond to successfully confront their formidable enemy and complete their perilous journey.
