Synopsis

Teiichi Niiya is just a first-year student lost in the oldest wing of his school when he bumps into a beautiful girl sitting alone in a dim room. Turns out she's been dead for 60 years. Yuuko Kanoe is a ghost with no memory of who she was or how she died, and she's been haunting Seikyou Private Academy ever since. The catch — almost nobody can see her, but Teiichi can. Together they form the Paranormal Investigations Club, supposedly to look into the school's many ghost stories, but really to piece together the mystery of Yuuko's forgotten past. What makes this 12-episode TV series work is how it handles tone. One moment it's genuinely creepy — shadowy corridors, unsettling legends, something wrong lurking just beneath the surface. The next, Yuuko is messing with Teiichi like a playful girlfriend who happens to be incorporeal. SILVER LINK. nails the visual contrast between warm, almost glowing romantic scenes and stark, horror-tinged darkness. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting too, shifting the atmosphere on a dime. If you liked the emotional gut-punch of Anohana or Angel Beats, this scratches a similar itch but leans harder into mystery and horror. And if Another was your thing but you wanted more heart alongside the dread, this is exactly that balance. It's a ghost love story that doesn't shy away from getting dark when it needs to, and the payoff around Yuuko's past is genuinely worth the buildup.

I had mixed feeling about the ending and the show as a whole. The fanservice was the major flaw in my opinion. I also think the ending didn’t make sense and it should’ve ended like 5 minutes before. Overall I loved the animation and some aspects of the story but the fanservice and the main character really dragged down my enjoyment as a whole.
Great episode, very emotionally heavy and the animation looked great as well. Self acceptance is a major theme and I liked how it was portrayed
We finally get answers about Yuuko’s story and how heartbreaking that was. Probably the best episode so far
