Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After a significant time skip, a Sasuke-trained and battle-hardened Boruto Uzumaki walks back into the Hidden Leaf Village older and stronger — except nobody's happy to see him. He's a fugitive now, blamed for events that turned the village against him, and he's walking back into a place that wants him locked up or worse. That's the setup for Part 2 of Boruto, and it immediately sets a different tone from everything that came before. This isn't the kid trying to step out of his dad's shadow anymore. This is a young shinobi trying to clear his name while an army of monsters led by a guy named Code closes in on everything he cares about. Sarada's unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, Mitsuki's pushed his Sage abilities further, and Kawaki — well, Kawaki's relationship with Boruto is complicated in ways that make the whole thing hit harder. The Karma seal power system adds real stakes to the fights, and the animation during action sequences is fluid and sharp. If you grew up with Naruto Shippuden and miss that feeling of a protagonist fighting against impossible odds with the weight of a whole village on their back, this picks up that thread and runs with it. Fans of Dragon Ball Z's escalating power dynamics or Bleach's darker turn in later arcs will find familiar ground here. The tone leans heavy into redemption and identity — what it means to carry a legacy you never asked for.
