"X: An Omen" follows Kakyou, a young dreamgazer confined to his bed, as he reflects on his past and the future. He remembers the life and death of a remarkable young woman he encountered within his dreams. Simultaneously, Kakyou experiences prophetic dreams of a catastrophic future. These visions depict a world facing a critical juncture, where the fate of the Earth is at stake. The anime explores themes of destiny, premonition, and the weight of the future, all seen through the eyes of a young man burdened with the knowledge of impending tragedy and the memories of a past life.
