📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime is set after a long civil war where the North, facing defeat, employed dark magic to create Incarnates, monstrous super-soldiers. With the war concluded, these Sacred Beasts are now forced to integrate into a society that fears them. Many are hunted by Beast Hunters, tasked with eliminating the Incarnates. Nancy Schaal Bancroft, whose father is an Incarnate, is driven to hunt the hunter, seeking revenge for the persecution of her kind. As she pursues her target, she uncovers difficult truths about the lives and struggles of the Sacred Beasts, forcing her to confront complex moral questions. The series explores themes of prejudice, acceptance, and the consequences of war.
