Synopsis

An ordinary human boy named Iruma Suzuki is living in the demon world, attending a school full of monsters who would eat him if they found out what he really was. That's the premise from season one, and this second season runs with it in the best way. After his club gets temporarily shut down, Iruma ends up working under the student council president Amelie Azazel, who runs things with an iron fist. So now he's stuck trying to meet her strict standards while also hiding the fact that he's, you know, not a demon. The comedy here comes from how genuinely out of his depth Iruma is at every turn. He's got a magic ring that lets him fake demonic powers, loyal friends in Alice Asmodeus and Clara Valac who'd throw down for him without question, and a grandfather figure in Sullivan who happens to be one of the most powerful demons alive. The 21-episode run gives the show room to breathe and develop its cast without dragging. Bandai Namco Pictures keeps the animation colorful and expressive, which fits the comedic tone perfectly. If you liked Rosario + Vampire's "human in a monster school" setup but wanted something less fanservice-heavy, or if The Devil Is a Part-Timer's fish-out-of-water comedy worked for you, this hits a similar sweet spot. It's a warm, funny shounen that doesn't need to be edgy to keep you watching.

The animation here was consistent as the ep shows the landscape of the Netherworld. The pacing here was steady as it wraps up the story while allowing new ones to take place. This sets up for the future, as it teases on the higher ranks as well as the secrets of the demon king.
OMG I LOVE THIS EPISODE! The ship is finally sailing as they are on their first official date. The animation even captures the subtle blushes and their cute shy expressions. The pacing was perfectly slow building up the romantic tension between the two.
I am not a fan of Clara as she was so obnoxious in this episode. This episode was just crazy, trying to show off Clara in a better light but instead it just shows how chaotic she can be especially with her family.
