Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Sold to a demon by his deadbeat parents, human kid Iruma Suzuki somehow landed the best thing that ever happened to him. Now three seasons in, Iruma and his misfit classmates at Babyls Demon School face a new problem: they need to rank up to Dalet before second year or they lose their fancy Royal One classroom. The catch is that ranking up in demon school means surviving stuff like the Harvest Festival, which is basically a competitive free-for-all in a dangerous jungle where everyone's trying to outperform each other. This season leans hard into what makes Iruma-kun work so well — the class dynamic. You've got a whole roster of weirdos who each get moments to shine, and watching them push past their limits to hit that rank goal gives the show a sense of momentum that the earlier seasons were still building toward. The ranking system isn't just window dressing; it actually shapes how characters grow and what they're willing to risk. Bandai Namco Pictures keeps the animation expressive and colorful, which fits the comedic tone without undercutting the moments that carry real weight. If you enjoyed Blue Exorcist's demon school setting or the fish-out-of-water charm of The Devil Is a Part-Timer, this scratches a similar itch. And if Rosario + Vampire left you wanting a better version of "human stuck in monster school," this is the one. Twenty-one episodes across the 2022 run, and the pacing never drags.
