EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 3 follows directly from the resolution of the Yousei-san encounter in Episode 2, pivoting into the Misaki Stairs arc and continuing the series' pattern of exploring Kamome Academy's Seven Mysteries one by one. As part one of a two-parter, this episode is pure setup — the payoff arrives in Episode 4, 'The Misaki Stairs, Part 2.' At the quarter mark of a 12-episode season, the show is expanding its supernatural mythology while deepening the core trio's relationships, establishing a rhythm that will carry through the remaining arcs.
