📖 SYNOPSIS
Through sheer dumb luck, Ken Usato gets isekai'd to a fantasy kingdom as an accident. His two classmates, the student council president and vice president, are the actual summoned heroes with flashy combat powers. Usato is just the guy who happened to be standing nearby. Rough start. But then the kingdom discovers he has a rare affinity for healing magic, and that's where things take a turn nobody expects, least of all Usato. Instead of becoming a backline support character, he gets claimed by Rose, the terrifying leader of the Rescue Team, who decides the best way to train a healer is to basically put him through a military boot camp from hell. Her philosophy is simple: a healer who can't survive the battlefield is useless. So Usato ends up becoming this absurdly durable, punch-throwing medic who heals himself mid-combat and keeps charging forward. The training sequences are genuinely funny, and watching Usato slowly transform from a confused bystander into someone who can tank hits that would drop a knight is oddly satisfying. It's a 13-episode TV series that doesn't overstay its welcome. If you liked the comedic isekai energy of Konosuba or the underdog progression of The Rising of the Shield Hero, this scratches a similar itch but with its own weird angle. The whole premise of weaponizing healing magic keeps the fantasy formula feeling fresh instead of recycled.
