EPISODE CONTEXT
As the first of twenty-six episodes, 'Beast' serves purely as foundation — establishing Jun Fudo's world, her key relationships, and the lurking threat of devil beasts before anything transforms irreversibly. It directly feeds into episode two, 'Blood,' where Jun confronts the reality of her latent abilities and begins reckoning with forces she cannot ignore. Everything here is setup, but it's setup that carries weight.
