EPISODE CONTEXT
Following Shinichi and Migi's first direct parasite confrontation in Episode 2, Episode 3 escalates the scope by introducing Ryoko Tamiya, a key figure whose presence signals that the parasite threat is far more organized and insidious than initially suggested. This is still early-season foundation work—episode 3 of 24—but it's the turning point where the series transitions from reactive survival horror into a more complex web of coexistence, deception, and moral ambiguity that will define the conflicts ahead.
