EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off Episode 1's chaotic introduction to the parasitic invasion and Shinichi's unique partial bonding with Migi, this second episode grounds the premise by exploring the day-to-day consequences of that event. It establishes the character dynamics and philosophical tensions that will define the entire 24-episode run. Early groundwork is being laid here for both the larger parasitic threat and Shinichi's slow transformation as a person caught between two worlds.
