EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the singing duel between Sun and Lunar in episode 8, the series pivots from idol rivalry to romantic rivalry by introducing Kai Mikawa as a direct threat to Nagasumi's relationship with Sun. Sitting roughly at the one-third mark of the 26-episode run, this episode expands the cast and raises the personal stakes for Nagasumi, setting up the physical comedy gauntlet that continues into 'Pumping Iron' and beyond.
