EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode 7's introduction of new characters that shook up the group dynamic, episode 8 pivots back to the core cast and doubles down on the Sun-Lunar rivalry that's been simmering since Lunar's arrival. Sitting roughly a third into the 26-episode run, this installment deepens the romantic comedy entanglements without advancing major plot threads, instead reinforcing character relationships. It directly sets the stage for episode 9, 'The Running Man,' continuing the escalating chain of comedic confrontations surrounding Nagasumi.
