Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Every face Rinne looks at is a complete blank — she can't make out a single person's features. She comes from a family of supernatural exorcists, so she's got bigger things to worry about anyway. On her very first mission, she runs into something way beyond what she trained for and nearly gets killed. A mysterious guy named Jugemu pulls her out of danger, and that's when things get weird — well, weirder. Turns out every world, including hers, exists as part of something called "Strike Worlds," and they're all collapsing. Now Rinne and Jugemu are hopping between dying worlds, trying to figure out what's going on and how to stop it. This is a 10-episode TV series from 2025 based on the Monster Strike game, but you don't need to know anything about the source material to follow it. The isekai angle here is less "transported to a fantasy RPG" and more multiverse-hopping through apocalyptic scenarios, which keeps each episode feeling distinct. If you liked the world-jumping tension of Re:Creators or the escalating stakes of Takt Op. Destiny, this scratches a similar itch. The action-packed tone means it moves fast across those 10 episodes — no filler arcs, no drawn-out exposition dumps. Rinne's condition of not seeing faces adds an interesting layer to how she reads people and builds trust, especially with someone like Jugemu whose motives aren't immediately clear. Short commitment, solid fantasy action, and a premise that's just offbeat enough to stay interesting.
