Kagejitsu! Second comprises mini animations known as Em-Shade! Shorts. These shorts were initially broadcast on television. Following their television debut, the animations were uploaded to the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube channel for wider accessibility. Furthermore, the Em-Shade! Shorts are available as bonus content accompanying the Blu-ray and DVD releases of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2. Volume 1 of the Blu-ray/DVD includes episodes 1-4, Volume 2 contains episodes 5-8, and Volume 3 features episodes 9-12. The series focuses on short-form content, providing additional entertainment for fans of The Eminence in Shadow.
