EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Goku and Bulma's encounter with Master Roshi in episode 3, this episode expands the core traveling party by introducing Oolong, a character who becomes a recurring companion throughout the Dragon Ball quest. It's still very early in the 153-episode run, firmly in the world-building phase where each stop on the journey adds new allies and complications. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the group's continued search for the Dragon Balls and the escalating encounters ahead.
