馃摉 SYNOPSIS
In "Aim for the Ace!: The Movie," freshman Hiromi enters the high school tennis club, drawn to the skill and grace of senior Ryuuzaki, known as "Madame Butterfly." However, the arrival of coach Jin Munakata throws Hiromi's aspirations into turmoil. Munakata, seeing potential in the inexperienced Hiromi, pushes her to compete in an upcoming tournament. Overwhelmed, Hiromi contemplates abandoning tennis altogether.
Through introspection, Hiromi realizes her true affection for the sport and returns to the club. Under Munakata's rigorous training, her talent begins to flourish. As Hiromi's skills improve, she develops a strong emotional bond with her coach. Unbeknownst to Hiromi, Munakata is battling a chronic illness, adding a layer of poignancy to their relationship. The film explores themes of perseverance, self-discovery, and the impact of mentorship.
