Three years of getting absolutely dismantled and rebuilt by her coach Jin Munakata — a former tennis legend with a brutal training style and a mysterious past — is what it took for Hiromi Oka to reach the top, and it paid off. She's now Japan's junior champion, heading to New York for an international tournament. Then Munakata collapses and gets hospitalized, and suddenly Hiromi is out there alone, facing world-class competition without the one person who believed in her before she believed in herself.
