EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 19 serves as the climax of the Maze Castle arc, with Yusuke having fought his way through the Saint Beasts—culminating after last episode's defeat of Seiryu, the Blue Dragon. This is one of the earliest defining battles in Yusuke's career as Spirit Detective, establishing both his limits and his willingness to push past them. The resolution of this arc sets the foundation for the next phase of Yusuke's journey, still very early in the show's 112-episode run.
