EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off Episode 109's climactic resolution of Hiei and Mukuro's arc, Episode 110 pivots squarely to Yusuke and Yomi, placing the series' central character front and center as the endgame approaches. This is the penultimate conflict episode — the second-to-last chance for the show to define what its protagonist stands for before Episode 111's 'The Final Decision' begins wrapping the entire series. With only two episodes remaining after this one, everything built across 110 episodes narrows to this moment of reckoning.
