EPISODE CONTEXT
Picking up directly from the idol Kuromu revelation in episode 21, 'Sparkling Shock' deals with the fallout and the lengths Iruma's friend group will go to protect one of their own. As the second-to-last episode of the season, it serves as the emotional climax of the friendship arcs built across all 23 episodes. It transitions naturally into the finale, 'You Fit Right In Now, Iruma-kun,' which crystallizes Iruma's place in the demon world.
