EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the exact midpoint of a 23-episode season, Episode 12 pivots from the familiar-bonding arc of Episode 11 into new territory as the Battler (club) system takes center stage. This is a transitional episode that broadens the supporting cast and school worldbuilding while setting up Iruma's path toward the Magical Apparatus Battler, which begins crystallizing in Episode 13. It marks the start of a stretch that will define Iruma's role and relationships within Babyls for the back half of the season.
