EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode 10's disruptions at Tinasha's tower and Oscar's diplomatic preparations, 'Castle of Sand' escalates the external conflict by plunging the leads into Yarda's political crisis and the mystery of the unsummonable witch. As episode 11 of 12, this is clearly the narrative's final wind-up, positioning all major elements for resolution. It directly sets the stage for the finale, 'Two Joined Memories,' where a mysterious discovery by Oscar promises to bring the season's deeper revelations to a head.
