EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the Rembrandt family arc's resolution in the previous episodes, episode 8 deliberately shifts inward, developing the demiplane as a living community rather than just a backdrop. Sitting at the two-thirds mark of the season, this episode strengthens the foundation of Makoto's growing power base and roster of allies, setting up the resources and relationships that will likely matter when the final stretch of episodes escalates the external conflicts around his trading company and his role in this new world.
