📖 SYNOPSIS

"The Magnificent Kotobuki" is a compilation film featuring new footage from "Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai." The story unfolds in a world where zeppelins are the primary means of transporting cargo across a desolate landscape. Air pirates prey on these aerial transports, forcing towns to pay ransoms or face destruction. The only defense against these threats is to hire mercenary pilots. The Kotobuki Squadron, a team of skilled female pilots, answers this call. Piloting their lightweight Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa fighters, Kylie, Reona, Chika, Emma, Kate, and Zara engage in deadly aerial combat, escorting cargo and protecting those in need. Their lives are constantly at risk, but they are driven by the freedom of flight and the challenge of the skies. The film explores themes of courage, skill, and the thrill of aerial combat.
