EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the second half of the Chouno two-parter, concluding the magician's storyline that began in the previous episode where he recruited Saiki to help salvage his reputation during a live show. Sitting at episode 44 of 120, the series is deep into its episodic groove of rotating its ensemble cast through self-contained comedic arcs. The next episode pivots to Mera's financial struggles, continuing the show's pattern of cycling through its supporting cast to keep the comedy fresh.
