EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off an episode where Kusuo briefly tasted normalcy with the telepathy-suppressing ring, this episode swings the pendulum back hard by introducing Makoto Teruhashi, expanding the cast of people making Kusuo's quiet life impossible. Sitting roughly a third of the way through the full 120-episode run, this is the series steadily building its roster of recurring comedic foils. The introduction here sets up future dynamics between Kusuo, the Teruhashi siblings, and his ever-growing circle of unwanted acquaintances.
