EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the second part of a three-part New Year's mini-arc, picking up directly from 'Noisy New Year's (Part 1)' where Kusuo's parents enthusiastically invited his classmates over. The episode deepens the comedic fallout of that decision and builds toward 'Noisy New Year's (Part 3),' which deals with the complications that spiral out of the gathering. At episode 34 of 120, the show is well into its rhythm, cycling through character-driven vignettes that reinforce the ensemble dynamics central to the series.
