EPISODE CONTEXT
The first four episodes established the comedic fish-out-of-water premise and slowly layered in supernatural tension; episode 5 detonates that buildup, serving as the season's first major action climax near the end of the first act. It directly follows the character-driven warmth of episode 4 and transforms those personal connections into narrative fuel for the escalating conflict. From here, the back half of the season will deal with the fallout and deeper questions about who can truly be trusted.
