EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the near-midpoint of a 12-episode run, Episode 5 builds on the world-expansion from Episode 4's exploration of Doux's familiar and her connections to humans by introducing a divine-side character, broadening the conflict beyond the demon realm. This new addition sets up what appears to be a recurring dynamic for the season's back half, positioning Doux more firmly at the crossroads between demon, human, and now divine factions.
