Synopsis

Before breakfast, Wang Ling could destroy the entire world — and his biggest concern is making sure nobody at school notices. This 15-episode ONA from Haoliners Animation drops you into a world where cultivation and spiritual powers are just part of everyday life — kids at school casually throw around supernatural abilities like it's gym class. Wang Ling, though, is on a completely different level. He's so absurdly overpowered that his parents had to slap a special amulet on him just to keep his energy from leaking out and, you know, ending civilization. The problem is the amulet is starting to crack, and high school drama isn't exactly great for emotional stability. The whole joke is that Wang Ling desperately wants to be invisible and ordinary, but the universe keeps putting him in situations where he has to secretly flex godlike power while pretending nothing happened. If you liked the vibe of Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan — overpowered protagonist just trying to get through the day without being exposed — this hits a very similar nerve, but with Chinese cultivation lore instead of psychic powers. There's also some One Punch Man energy in how it plays with the boredom of being too strong. What makes it stand out is the blend of traditional xianxia themes with a modern school comedy setting. The tone stays comedic and youthful, the animation has a distinct Chinese aesthetic that feels fresh if you mostly watch Japanese productions, and the episodes move quickly. It's a pretty easy watch if you want something light with a fun premise.

I enjoyed this low-key gem. The school setting makes it relatable, while the story offers a refreshing mix of supernatural powers and everyday struggle of wanting to stay out of the spotlight. This series has its own unexpected charm, and it's one I'll definitely watch again.
In this slice of life, the protagonist is absurdly overpowered and tries to hide it at all costs, attending high school normally is his only goal. It is a funny episode that sets the contrast between his seemingly limitless powers and how he downplays it to live a normal life.
I really like Wang ling create another world so that he can still see their friends and family even though he erase all people memories except Sun Rong.
