EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the introduction of Saki Mk. II in episode 5, this sixth installment serves as a deliberate cooldown before the stakes escalate again. It uses the beach setting to develop character relationships — particularly the Kurumi-Uruka rivalry — without advancing the main plot heavily. The breather is well-timed, as episode 7 introduces Karinka Mk. II, pushing the second half of the season into more intense territory.
