SPY x FAMILY Cour 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Imagine a household where a spy, an assassin, a telepath, and a psychic dog all live together—and none of them know what the others really are. Spy x Family Part 2 picks up right where the first season left off, with Loid Forger still deep undercover trying to get close to a dangerous politician through his daughter Anya's school. This time around, the family gets a new member: Bond, a big fluffy dog who can see the future, which pairs hilariously with Anya's ability to read minds. The two of them together are pure chaos. This 13-episode run leans harder into the family dynamics that made the first part work so well. Yor gets more time in the spotlight with her assassin side, and there's a genuinely tense arc involving a terrorist plot that lets Wit Studio and CloverWorks flex their animation chops. But the heart of it is still watching these people who are faking a family slowly start to mean it, without any of them being able to say so. The tone walks a line between spy thriller action and the kind of warm comedy where a six-year-old's goofy facial expressions carry entire scenes. If you liked Hinamatsuri's mix of found family and absurd humor, or the secret-identity parenting angle of Buddy Daddies, this is in that wheelhouse. It's funny, it's sweet, and the action sequences genuinely deliver when they show up.
