EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off Mitsui's emotionally charged return in Episode 27, this episode marks a definitive narrative pivot from character recruitment arcs into the competitive tournament structure that will drive much of the series going forward. Shohoku's roster is now assembled, and Episode 28 serves as the launchpad for the Inter High preliminaries — the first real test of whether this team can function as a unit against organized opposition.
