Synopsis

Fifty girls have rejected Hanamichi Sakuragi. Fifty. He's a 6-foot red-haired delinquent with a hair-trigger temper, and he's starting fresh at Shohoku High with one goal: get a girlfriend. Then a girl named Haruko Akagi walks up to him, asks if he likes basketball, and suddenly this guy who hates the sport more than anything is doing slam dunk practice to impress her. That's the setup for a 101-episode TV series that somehow turns a lovesick hothead with zero skills into one of the most compelling underdog stories in sports anime. What makes Slam Dunk work is that Hanamichi genuinely starts from nothing — he doesn't know the rules, he can't dribble, and his ego writes checks his game can't cash. The comedy hits because he's ridiculous, but the basketball itself is grounded and technical in a way that respects the sport. The pacing lets you feel every small victory, every humiliating failure. If you've watched Kuroko's Basketball and wanted something less flashy and more raw, or if Ahiru no Sora's slow-burn character work appealed to you, this is the show that paved the road for both. Toei Animation adapted this from a manga that literally changed basketball culture in Japan during the '90s, and watching it you can understand why. It earns every moment.

Starts slow but the characters are so over the top it kind of saves it. School setting, simple story, but there's something charming about how intense everyone is about everything. Cute in a loud way.
In this episode was a regular match between the veterans and rookie’s player. In that case there’s a good harmonious vibe in various characters on set.
In this episode was a devastating and tragic for the team. Even you fight right and capable to do good things some people did not payback at the same thing and doesn’t want to accept their loss in life.
