EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the Tokageroh possession arc, episode 12 serves as both an emotional cooldown and a critical narrative pivot — Ryu's shamanic awakening plants seeds that will pay off across the series. The appearance of the Ragoh star and Yoh's father Mikihisa signal the transition from character-introduction arcs into the long-awaited Shaman Fight tournament, which will define the majority of the remaining 52 episodes.
