📖 SYNOPSIS
In a future ravaged by rising oceans, the remnants of humanity cling to survival on isolated islands. Elfie lives with her grandfather on one such island city. An underwater incident leads Elfie to discover she can breathe underwater, a secret her grandfather reveals: she is one of the mythical sea-people. As the city faces resource problems, local politicians exploit the cityfolk's xenophobia, using the sea-people as a scapegoat. This manipulation ignites a conflict, placing Elfie in the crosshairs of a war she never asked for, caught between her human upbringing and her hidden heritage. The anime explores themes of environmental destruction, prejudice, and the manipulation of fear for political gain.
