Roll Over and Die
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Every single one of her stats is zero — literally all of them. Flum Apricot has nothing going for her on paper. She gets drafted into the hero's party anyway because a divine oracle said so, and nobody argues with divine oracles. Problem is, she's dead weight in a group of actually powerful people, and the party's sage Jean decides the best solution is selling her into slavery. Yeah, it goes there fast. Thrown to monsters for entertainment, Flum grabs a cursed weapon out of pure desperation — and that's when her mysterious 'Reversal' ability finally kicks in, turning her supposed weakness into something dangerous. This 12-episode TV series from A.C.G.T. leans hard into dark fantasy territory. The tone sits somewhere between The Rising of the Shield Hero's betrayal-driven revenge arc and Made in Abyss levels of "wow they really went there." Flum's journey from powerless slave to someone who can actually fight back is genuinely gripping, and the Reversal mechanic is a clever twist on standard RPG power systems — cursed gear that would kill anyone else becomes her greatest asset. There's also a girls love thread woven through the story that develops naturally alongside the action. If you liked Grimgar's grounded, painful take on fantasy isekai but wanted something with sharper edges and a protagonist who earns every inch of her survival, this one's worth your time. Just know going in: the first couple episodes don't pull punches.
