📖 SYNOPSIS
Set in 1999, the story follows elementary student Amamori Hajime after a lab accident orphans him. He moves in with his astronomer uncle and meets Yukino Yayoi, his uncle's assistant and a girl he admires. Unbeknownst to Hajime, Yukino is the Millennial Queen, chosen by her home planet, LaMetal, which has a dangerous, elliptical orbit that brings it close to Earth every thousand years, causing natural disasters.
Yukino's mission is to prepare for LaMetal's potential destruction by evacuating humans to her planet. However, her plan is opposed by the head of the Millennial Thieves, who seeks to thwart her efforts. The series explores themes of survival, planetary destruction, and the choices made in the face of impending doom, all while focusing on the relationship between Hajime and Yukino.
