馃摉 SYNOPSIS
The anime follows Li Fuyao in a world where the once-dominant Sword Stream has fallen, now reliant on the Sword God Chao Qingqiu to combat the twelve saints of the Three Streams. Driven by a deep-seated hatred, Li Fuyao earns a living by storytelling in a small town. His path takes him to Jianshan, the Land of Devils, and the Land of Buddhism. As he seeks revenge, Li Fuyao begins to uncover a massive conspiracy that has plagued the world. The series explores the reasons behind the Sword Stream's decline, the inability of saints and Sword Gods to achieve Immortality, and Chao Qingqiu's suspended animation. The mysteries of Buddhist lanterns and the nature of the dragon in the Land of Devils, potentially an outsider, are also central to the plot. Li Fuyao's growth and exploration of these enigmas drive the narrative.
