📖 SYNOPSIS
Princess Arete is held captive in a castle tower, her days spent gazing at the world outside. She secretly observes the common people, contrasting their lives with her own restricted existence. The kingdom's knights vie for her hand in marriage, their competition centered on finding magical artifacts left by a forgotten race of sorcerers. Arete, however, rejects this fate, dreaming of the exotic lands she reads about in hidden books. Her aspirations for freedom and exploration are challenged when the sorcerer Boax arrives in a fantastical flying machine, offering to transform her into a "proper" princess. This offer forces Arete to confront her desires and define her own destiny.
