The invincible Saitama, alongside his disciple Genos, faces a new threat as the Hero Association clashes with the Monster Association over a kidnapped child.

📖 SYNOPSIS

Saitama can defeat literally anything with one punch. Sounds like a power fantasy, right? Except the whole point is that it's ruined his life. He trained so hard he went bald, and now every fight ends before it starts. He's just a guy standing in the grocery store with a blank expression, clipping coupons, while the world around him spirals into chaos. Season 3 picks up with the Monster Association — an organized group of creatures who actually have a plan beyond just smashing cities — making moves against the Hero Association. Genos is still loyally following Saitama around trying to learn his secret, and S-Class heroes are gearing up for what's shaping into the biggest conflict the series has tackled yet. But the comedy never lets up. J.C.Staff delivers 12 episodes that keep the parodic edge sharp, poking fun at superhero hierarchies and power scaling while still delivering genuinely impressive fight sequences. The tonal whiplash between Saitama's dead-eyed boredom and everyone else treating things like the apocalypse is still the core joke, and it still works. If you liked the over-the-top action of Kill la Kill or the way My Hero Academia builds out its hero society, this hits a similar nerve but from a completely different, more cynical angle. Overlord fans who enjoy an overpowered protagonist might also find something to appreciate here, though Saitama has way less interest in world domination and way more interest in finding a decent sale on meat.

✨ MUST WATCH IF...

You loved the Monster Association arc setup in Season 2 and want it to continue
Saitama's deadpan comedy still lands for you — the humor's intact even if visuals aren't
You're fine with J.C.Staff's style — it's consistent with Season 2's look, not Season 1's
You want to see the hero rankings shake up and S-Class heroes get more spotlight

❌ SKIP IF...

You haven't finished Season 2 — this picks up mid-arc with zero recap or reintroduction
You expect Madhouse Season 1 quality — the animation here is a significant step down from both prior seasons
You'd rather read ONE's manga or Murata's redraws — the source art outclasses this adaptation heavily
