EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off the origin setup of Episode 1, 'Overzone' moves Mirai past her initial shock and into the reality of wielding the Mol Unit's powers — this is where her identity as an accidental superheroine starts to solidify. At only six episodes total, every installment carries weight, and this one functions as a crucial bridge between introduction and escalation. What happens here lays the groundwork for the rising conflict with Dr. Machinegal that the remaining four episodes will build upon.
