EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Elma's introduction in Episode 8, the series pivots away from expanding its dragon cast to deepen its emotional core, putting Kanna's integration into human society under the spotlight. Positioned in the back third of the 13-episode season, this installment reinforces the familial themes that will carry through the finale. It also sets the stage for Episode 10, which pushes the dragons further into human cultural engagement through a theatrical performance.
