EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the premiere's establishment of the marriage contract and baby-making agreement, Episode 2 marks the first real test of Taika and Ayano's arrangement as they settle into shared routines and growing intimacy. Positioned early in an 8-episode run, this installment is clearly building foundational chemistry that the back half of the series will complicate or deepen. It bridges the initial premise setup with what should become more emotionally complex territory as the pair's feelings inevitably outgrow their contract.
